About This Project
Muna is a Nollywood action crime drama directed by Kevin Nwankwor, starring Adesua Etomi in the lead role. The film follows a young woman whose pursuit of a better life leads her into human trafficking, ultimately transforming her into a highly trained fighter driven by revenge.
Blending emotional storytelling with intense action sequences, Muna combines themes of trauma, resilience, and justice with stylised fight choreography and cinematic pacing. The film moves between grounded drama and high-energy action, where music plays a key role in shaping tension, rhythm, and narrative impact.
My Contribution
I composed original music for both the trailer and the final fight sequence, focusing on enhancing the film’s intensity and emotional payoff. The score for the trailer was designed to immediately establish tone and stakes, using impactful musical builds to support pacing and audience engagement.
For the final fight scene, I created a dynamic composition that worked closely with the choreography and editing, reinforcing momentum, tension, and dramatic resolution. The approach combined cinematic scoring techniques with modern production elements, ensuring the music elevated both the action and the emotional weight of the scene.
